SAU to co-sponsor seminar in Hope

The Small Business Development Center at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will co-sponsor an “IRS Small Business Tax Seminar II” from 5:15 to 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The seminar will be held in room 201 of the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope Student Center. Co-sponsors include UACCH and Willis Financial Services.
This seminar will deal with the basics of handling the withholding of employment taxes such as federal income, social security, and Medicare. The speaker will discuss the employer identification numbers, information returns, and other employment-related issues.
The cost of the class is $20. It is free to UACCH students, staff, and faculty.
