SAU to Co-Sponsor Retirement Planning Seminar for Small Business Owners

The Small Business Development Center at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will co-sponsor “Retirement Planning 101 for Small Business Owners” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The seminar will be held at the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center located on the SAU campus. It is co-sponsored by Mustard Seed Financial LLP and the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce.
This seminar is an in-depth and humorous discussion of how to avoid the wrong kind of investments. Participants will be introduced to the different retirement plans available and the appropriate investment vehicles for business owners to utilize.
Dr. David Ashby, CFP, CPA, will be the guest speaker. He is the Peoples Bank Professor of Economics and Finance and the chair of the Department of Economics and Finance at SAU.
The cost of the class is $25. It is free to members of the Magnolia-Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.
