Valentine’s Day blood drive hosted by Mulerider basketball and Sigma Pi

MAGNOLIA— Help give the greatest gift this Valentine’s Day by donating blood on February 14.
Due to the recent tornadoes that hit northern Arkansas, the American Red Cross is in dire need of blood. For this reason, the men’s Mulerider basketball team is working together with Sigma Pi fraternity to sponsor a blood drive.
“The basketball team was originally doing this drive to help the service men and women they will honor at their game that night. Since the tornadoes, we’ve tried to change it up a bit. My fraternity normally does this once a year with the American Red Cross because they will give the blood to those in urgent need,” said John Hirzel, one of the fraternity members organizing the drive.
