MAGNOLIA—-The Southern Arkansas University digital media program hosted its first annual Magnolia Student Film Festival Thursday, and SAU sophomore Melissa Heard won first place with her video, “Let Go.”

The new location of the Columbia County Crisis Center got some much needed repairs this past Saturday thanks to the volunteer efforts of about 40 Southern Arkansas University students.
