SAU to offer CNA class

The Office of Continuing Education at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will offer the Certified Nursing Assistant Program from 4 to 9 p.m. each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday beginning Oct. 16.
This 90-hour program combines classroom instruction and clinical experience. Students successfully completing the program are awarded a Certificate of Proficiency and are then qualified to take the skills test and the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. CNAs work in various areas of the health care community, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health.
The cost of the program is $325.
