Dr. David Ashby publishes risk management article

MAGNOLIA—- Dr. David Ashby, professor of economics and finance at SAU was published in the April 2008 edition of “Risk Management,” a publication of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
The article is titled “Divide Your Portion: An Illustration of Portfolio Diversification.” It highlights the importance of not putting all your eggs in one basket and stresses the benefits of diversified portfolios in an unstable market.
Ashby received his bachelor’s degree from SAU, his master’s from the University of Mississippi, and his doctorate from Louisiana Tech University. He is also a practicing financial planner with Mustard Seed Financial, LLC.
